Quantum technology company Q-CTRL is building a new global headquarters in Sydney, Australia. The facility, funded by the NSW Government’s Jobs Plus program and the Federal Government’s Modern Manufacturing Initiative Translation grant, will be the country’s first standalone commercial quantum technology facility.

The headquarters will be located near the Tech Central Precinct and will support commercial leadership and quantum sensing research and development. CEO and Founder, Michael J. Biercuk, said the facility reflects Q-CTRL’s ambition to deliver pride and prosperity through quantum technology for all Australians. The headquarters is expected to open in late 2023.

Q-CTRL’s New Global Headquarters in Sydney

Q-CTRL, a quantum technology company specialising in quantum control infrastructure software, has announced plans to construct a new global headquarters in Sydney. This facility will be the first standalone commercial quantum technology facility in Australia, reflecting the country’s significant role in the quantum technology industry. The headquarters will be situated in central Sydney, close to the Tech Central Precinct. They will support the company’s commercial leadership and provide essential infrastructure for quantum sensing research and development. The construction of the facility is being funded by the NSW Government’s Jobs Plus program and the Federal Government’s Modern Manufacturing Initiative Translation grant.

The new headquarters will serve as a hub for the company’s operations and a symbol of Q-CTRL’s commitment to innovation in the quantum technology space. The company’s CEO and Founder, Michael J. Transformation of a Heritage Building

The new headquarters will be housed in a 1930s Heritage-listed industrial building, transforming into a state-of-the-art facility for a 21st-century industry. To achieve this, Q-CTRL has partnered with three of Australia’s top organisations in their respective sectors: Architectus, an architectural consultant; FDC, a construction and refurbishment company; and Acuity, a project development manager.
