From September 28 to 30, 2026, the Quantum Innovation Summit will be held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Conference & Exhibition Centre, bringing together technology leaders and researchers from around the world, the company says. Hosted by the UAE Cyber Security Council and organized by Vernewell Group, the summit expands its focus beyond quantum technologies to include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure.

“Quantum, AI, cybersecurity, space, advanced computing and critical infrastructure are increasingly interconnected technology systems,” said Malak Trabelsi Loeb, Founder of the Quantum Innovation Summit. The event aims to foster discussions around technological sovereignty and build resilient international partnerships.

This increased capacity signals a broadening of the summit’s scope beyond quantum technologies to encompass a wider community involved in the development and deployment of advanced systems. Organizers have dedicated over 3,000 square meters to exhibition space and technology engagement, reflecting growing interest in interconnected technologies. A core organizing principle of the 2026 summit is a systems approach to technological leadership, connecting quantum computing and artificial intelligence with crucial areas like cybersecurity, space technologies, and critical infrastructure.

This holistic view extends to considerations of research, governance, investment, and the development of sovereign capabilities, prioritizing technological sovereignty, national resilience, economic competitiveness, and trusted international partnerships. The agenda aims to address how these advanced technologies are developed, secured, and deployed in a coordinated manner.

Artificial intelligence will receive heightened attention in the 2026 edition through new partnerships within the UAE’s AI and advanced technology ecosystem. These collaborations will add expertise across AI, advanced computing, government applications, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and critical infrastructure, demonstrating a commitment to integrating AI as a fundamental component of future technological advancements.

The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) will serve as Quantum Catalyst Sponsor and Prime Exhibitor, linking the international program with applied quantum research and engineering developed in Abu Dhabi. QuantumGate, also a Quantum Catalyst Sponsor, will contribute UAE-developed expertise in post-quantum security, a critical area given the potential for quantum computers to break existing encryption methods. e& UAE, as a Strategic Partner, will bring perspectives on national-scale connectivity and digital infrastructure, while the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems at NYU Abu Dhabi will contribute research excellence and talent development.

International representation at the summit has grown significantly, increasing from 31 countries in 2024 to 52 in 2025, alongside more than 20 diplomatic delegations. This expansion underscores the summit’s growing role as a globally connected platform for quantum technologies and emerging fields.

The program extends beyond the main conference with the Quantum Futures Forum, Academic Aisle, Vernewell Quantum Fall School, and the MVA GEGSLA Symposium, all designed to foster research exchange, education, and capability development. The summit also anchors Global Quantum Week, extending engagement through selected international and online activities, including TII Quantum Day in Abu Dhabi on October 1, offering curated visits to the Quantum Research Lab and Quantum Optical Ground Station.
