CETQAP, PkTron and QuboTronics LMS are jointly offering a fully funded, one-year diploma in Quantum Computing through a new program called QuantumHER, designed to increase female participation in the field. The curriculum progresses from introductory to advanced topics, including practical experience with Qiskit projects, providing a structured skill-building pathway for selected candidates.
This initiative aims to remove financial barriers to specialized quantum education, particularly for students who might not otherwise have access. According to the program announcement, “The quantum era is coming — and QuantumHER is positioning women and girls to be part of the generation building it.”
QuantumHER Diploma: Foundational to Advanced Curriculum
A structured curriculum forms the core of the QuantumHER diploma program, guiding students from introductory concepts to expert-level quantum computing skills. CETQAP details a one-year program encompassing quantum computing fundamentals, Python for quantum systems, and essential linear algebra, before progressing to quantum mechanics basics and circuit design. Students will then explore Grover and Shor algorithms, quantum cryptography, and entanglement, culminating in practical application projects utilizing the Qiskit framework.
This progression ensures learners gain hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The initiative specifically targets increased female participation in the rapidly expanding quantum technology sector. CETQAP’s curriculum also includes modules on quantum simulation, machine learning, and error-correction research, reflecting Pakistan’s growing quantum ecosystem. Applications are currently open, but seats are limited, indicating a focused approach to building a skilled quantum workforce through targeted education.
