AliroNet Solution as the Quantum Network Controller for America’s first industry-led, commercially available Quantum Network.

Alironet Solution As The Quantum Network Controller For America’s First Industry-Led, Commercially Available Quantum Network.

Aliro Quantum, the Quantum Networking Company, announced that its AliroNet solution had been chosen as the quantum network controller for EPB Quantum Network powered by Qubitekk. Users can define, validate, plan, perform, and control EPB Quantum Network services through its network customers. EPB Quantum Network powered by Qubitekk in 2022 is America’s first industry-led, commercially available quantum network designed for private companies, government, and university researchers to run quantum equipment and applications in an established fibre optic environment.

“Quantum networks require sophisticated control, management, and orchestration software to operate seamlessly and at optimum capacity. AliroNet will provide comprehensive quantum network control software for the end-to-end system.”

Jim Ricotta, CEO and Chairman of Aliro Quantum.

Aliro is a US-based company founded by world-class professionals in quantum and classical networking; it is leading the industry of quantum network development by providing the basic technologies required for enterprises worldwide to build scalable and powerful distributed quantum systems.

Aliro Quantum, The Quantum Networking Company, provides AliroNet to mimic, pilot, and deploy entanglement-based quantum networks capable of executing applications ranging from secure communications to clustered quantum computation and distributed quantum sensing.

Aliro Quantum also assists with studying, selecting, and purchasing third-party quantum networking hardware components used to build quantum memories, repeaters, routers, photon sources, photon detectors, and other optical components. Quantum secure communications (QSC) connecting sites, campuses, branch offices, data centers, and clouds are among the AliroNet application cases. AliroNet also works with traditional classical networks and existing fiber installations, eliminating the need for a forklift upgrade to adopt an entanglement-based quantum network.

AliroNet will also serve as the network operator interface, allowing EPB operators to control and monitor the physical quantum network architecture. EPB operators can define and administer the quantum services that EPB Quantum Network clients and end-users can access.

“Quantum product developers must be able to depend on reliable, predictable technology to ensure their developments will succeed when they go to market. AliroNet software along with Qubitekk hardware and embedded software technology will provide a consistent, dependable solution to help EPB Quantum Network clients integrate to the network.”

Dr. Duncan Earl, Qubitekk co-founder, president and CTO.
