Quantinuum to showcase full-stack quantum approach at IEEE Quantum Week 2026

From September 13 to 18, IEEE Quantum Week 2026 will spotlight a critical shift in quantum computing, focusing on the practical convergence of generative AI, distributed systems, and software engineering. Quantinuum plans to showcase its approach to fault-tolerant quantum computing at Booth #501, sharing hardware and software advancements.

Quantinuum’s CEO, Dr. Rajeeb Hazra, stated that “Quantum computing has passed the point where error correction is theoretical,” and his keynote on September 14 will detail how defined benchmarks and real workloads are now essential to advance the field. This conference signals a move beyond purely theoretical research toward tangible applications of quantum technology.

Quantinuum’s Focus: Generative AI, Quantum Systems, and Software

Quantinuum will demonstrate its integrated full-stack approach by showcasing hardware and software enhancements and facilitating direct engagement with experts at Booth #501 during IEEE Quantum Week 2026. Several workshops will explore the synergies between quantum computing and generative AI, including “QGenAI: Synergies between Quantum Computing and Generative Artificial Intelligence” featuring presenting author Chen-Yu Liu.

Further sessions will address quantum-HPC integration and the evolving quantum workforce, with panelists including Neal Erickson and Kortny Rolston-Duce. These discussions reflect Quantinuum’s commitment to co-designing the quantum-HPC software stack and tackling challenges in quantum software development, as evidenced by presentations on topics like AI-optimized circuit optimization and scalable QPU architectures.</p, the company says.
