QuSecure wins gold for cutting quantum security costs

From a field of 3,400 nominations, QuSecure, Inc. earned a Gold award from the International Business Awards for its post-quantum cryptography platform, QuProtect R3. A judging panelist credited QuSecure with the ability to reduce quantum migration costs and timelines, noting the company’s strong position in government revenue. This recognition, determined by over 300 business professionals, validates QuSecure’s position as a leader in quantum security and its innovative approach to cryptographic agility.

The judging process, completed in June and July, highlighted QuSecure’s impact on the emerging field of post-quantum cryptography and its ability to address a critical vulnerability in current encryption standards. The QuProtect R3 platform is distinguished by its crypto-agility, enabling organizations to update existing networks with post-quantum cryptography without a complete infrastructure overhaul, QuSecure says. Independent judges found this approach sets a high standard for quantum resilient cybersecurity.

The platform’s reconnaissance module offers an industry-first capability, instantly mapping encryption vulnerabilities and securing data infrastructure, a feature crucial for organizations facing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. QuSecure’s technology delivers a vital breakthrough in post-quantum cryptography by automating asset discovery, remediation, and the generation of Cryptographic Bills of Materials without requiring code rewrites.

Joey Lupo, QuSecure Product Manager, stated, “It is truly gratifying to see the judges’ recognition of QuSecure’s innovation, market leadership, validation in the industry, and revenue growth.” One judge expressed their impression with QuSecure’s use of the QuProtect R3 platform to ensure compatibility with legacy infrastructure, operating across diverse environments like cloud and air-gapped systems, which further enhances its appeal and broadens its potential applications for customers including U.S. defense agencies and global financial institutions.

The International Business Awards are some of the most sought after awards each year, partly because winners are selected by an esteemed judging panel of hundreds of professionals across the globe.

Rusty is a quantum science nerd. He's been into academic science all his life, but spent his formative years doing less academic things. Now he turns his attention to write about his passion, the quantum realm. He loves all things Quantum Physics especially. Rusty likes the more esoteric side of Quantum Computing and the Quantum world. Everything from Quantum Entanglement to Quantum Physics. Rusty thinks that we are in the 1950s quantum equivalent of the classical computing world. While other quantum journalists focus on IBM's latest chip or which startup just raised $50 million, Rusty's over here writing 3,000-word deep dives on whether quantum entanglement might explain why you sometimes think about someone right before they text you. (Spoiler: it doesn't, but the exploration is fascinating)
