Riverlane demos quantum error correction tools at IEEE event

At booth 309 of the Metro Toronto Convention Center, Riverlane is offering hands-on experience with tools designed to address a central challenge in quantum computing: error correction. Attendees at IEEE Quantum Week can begin experimenting with Quantum Error Correction using Riverlane’s open-source software tool, Deltakit.

Visitors can also test their skills with a newly launched game where, according to Riverlane, players take on the role of the state |T⟩, growing by absorbing energy and expanding the code. Top scorers will compete for a Meta Quest VR headset and other prizes, awarded on Thursday, September 17 at 1:00 PM.

Deltaflow and Deltakit Demonstrations at IEEE Quantum Week 2026

Demonstrations are scheduled throughout the week, with integrated sessions of both Deltakit and Deltaflow geared toward advanced QEC experts at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 12:15 PM. Riverlane also plans to host a full-day workshop titled ‘Real-time Fault-tolerant quantum computing: Bridging theory and practice’ featuring guest speakers and discussions on critical bottlenecks facing the field.

These beginner-focused sessions are scheduled for 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 12:45 PM, making QEC techniques more accessible. The workshop will cover advanced decoder algorithms, data throughput challenges, and classical processing architectures, aiming to inspire collaborative dialogue on the future of quantum computing.

Riverlane is collaborating with partners like Qblox and Amazon throughout the week, including a live QEC experiment with Qblox at the QCE Exhibitor Hall on Tuesday, September 15 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and an AWS Braket panel session on software compilation and hardware interfaces for QEC on Wednesday, September 16 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
