In the latest 30 selected individuals ORCA Computing has been mentioned, specifically the Kris Kaczmarek is named who is Head of Product at ORCA Computing. ORCA is a British Quantum Computing company that aims to bring the world Quantum Computing using Fibre Optics.

ORCA was founded in London in October 2019. The company is based on research from Professor Ian Walmsley’s Ultra-fast and Non-linear Quantum Optics Group at the University of Oxford (UK). The company is co-founded by Richard Murray. Kris Kaczmarek is the head of product at ORCA Computing and specifically contributed to the ability to use low cost core memory which he researched whilst completing his PhD at the University of Oxford.
