How Qedma’s Software Extends Quantum Simulations at Scale

Qedma is integrating its Quantum Error Suppression and Error Mitigation software, known as QESEM, with Quantinuum’s quantum computing platform to improve circuit accuracy for enterprise and scientific users. Developed over one year as part of the Quantinuum Startup Partner Program, QESEM enhances accuracy by mitigating errors in quantum computing outputs, allowing researchers to pursue more complex workloads. Quantinuum’s systems, noted for their high average two-qubit gate fidelity, already push the boundaries of classical computation; Qedma’s software extends these capabilities further, enabling deeper and more accurate quantum computations. “Running algorithms beyond the reach of classical simulation requires quantum computers with both a large number of qubits and exceptionally low error rates,” said Dr. Asif Sinay, CEO and co-founder of Qedma, “which is exactly why we wanted to join Quantinuum’s Startup Partner Program.” Initial tests of QESEM on Quantinuum systems demonstrated benefits on simulations at the frontier of classical computation.
