Robbins LLP files class action against Quantum & D-Wave.

Investors who purchased D-Wave Quantum Inc. securities between February 26, 2026 and August 25, 2026 may be eligible to recover losses following a class action lawsuit filed against the company. The complaint alleges D-Wave overstated its business and financial prospects, a claim supported by second quarter 2026 revenue of $3.08 million, which was significantly below analyst expectations ranging from $4.03 million to $4.08 million.

“Companies have an obligation to provide investors with complete and accurate information so that markets can function fairly and efficiently,” says Brian J. Robbins, Founding Partner of Robbins LLP, the firm leading the case and setting a December 15, 2026 deadline for potential plaintiffs to come forward.

D-Wave Securities Litigation: February 26, August 25, 2026

The abrupt departure of D-Wave Quantum Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer, John Markovich, on August 25, 2026, triggered a 9.51% drop in the company’s stock price, closing at $17.51 per share and becoming a key event in the ensuing securities litigation. This followed an earlier decline on August 6, 2026, when D-Wave reported second quarter revenue of $3.08 million, significantly underperforming analyst predictions that ranged from $4.03 million to $4.08 million.

These events spurred a class action lawsuit alleging the company overstated its business and financial prospects during the specified period. The complaint asserts that D-Wave’s public statements were materially false and misleading throughout the Class Period, leading to investor losses. Robbins LLP is leading the litigation and is currently seeking individuals to potentially serve as lead plaintiff, a role representing the interests of all class members.

The firm must receive contact from interested parties before December 15, 2026, to be considered for the lead plaintiff position. Investors do not need to be lead plaintiff to potentially recover losses if the case is successful, and may remain absent class members. Robbins LLP highlights a history of securing substantial recoveries in shareholder litigation, having restored over $2 billion in value for shareholders.

The firm is actively encouraging those who believe they suffered losses during the specified period to submit an inquiry or contact attorney Aaron Dumas, Jr., to explore their options, D-Wave says. The lawsuit alleges that the truth regarding D-Wave’s financial performance began to emerge with the release of the disappointing second quarter results, and was further highlighted by the unexpected resignation of its CFO.

Companies have an obligation to provide investors with complete and accurate information so that markets can function fairly and efficiently.
