Engineers can now directly integrate the BrainChip AKD1500 neuromorphic co-processor chip into their designs without manually building components, thanks to a new partnership with Supplyframe. The collaboration makes BrainChip’s chip discoverable within Supplyframe’s schematic and component selection workflow, streamlining the design process from part discovery to integration.

BrainChip’s AKD1500 neuromorphic co-processor is now directly integrated into Supplyframe’s Design Modeler software, a move intended to accelerate adoption of event-based AI hardware. The collaboration streamlines component selection by making the AKD1500 discoverable within Supplyframe’s existing schematic and component workflow; engineers no longer need to manually build design files, a process that previously consumed significant time. Supplyframe will host verified schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 2D/3D ECAD models, allowing engineers to directly incorporate the chip into designs using tools like Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
Verified model badges will appear on the BrainChip website, confirming the availability of pre-built components for immediate use. These pre-built design files, available in over 25 PCB formats, reduce the time from chip evaluation to schematic integration from hours to minutes.
