Carahsoft Technology Corp. will distribute RJ Lee Group’s quantum security solutions to US federal agencies, streamlining access to critical protections against evolving cyber threats. The partnership addresses urgent federal mandates, including OMB M-22-09 and OMB M-26-15, requiring agencies to rapidly adopt phishing-resistant authentication and post-quantum cryptography. RJ Lee Group’s Greenlight authentication functions without passwords, even in challenging connectivity situations, while Quantum Shroud and Quantum Guard protect data using NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptography.

This capability relies on image-based login, eliminating the vulnerabilities associated with passwords, one-time codes and push approvals, and operates effectively in “denied, disconnected, intermittent and low-bandwidth (DDIL)” environments. The design allows secure access for users where traditional multi-factor authentication methods like PIV/CAC issuance are impractical, including mission partners and new personnel onboarding. Scott Monfredo, Vice President of Government Programs at RJ Lee Group, emphasized the timing of this partnership, noting that federal mandates are driving urgent demand for these technologies.
Carahsoft’s established contract vehicles, specifically NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP V) contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B, and E&I Contract #EI00063~2021MA, provide a pre-approved pathway for rapid deployment. This streamlined access is intended to help agencies address the evolving threat of “harvest-now, decrypt-later” attacks, where data is intercepted now with the intention of decryption once quantum computers become powerful enough.
Quantum Shroud encrypts data in transit at enclave boundaries without requiring changes to existing systems, while Quantum Guard extends that encryption to data stored on devices. Rob Pickle, Sales Director overseeing the RJ Lee Group at Carahsoft, stated that with the addition of RJ Lee Group to their offerings, they can provide Government agencies with quantum-resilient cybersecurity solutions that address both today’s evolving threats and the security challenges posed by the quantum era. The combined offerings aim to support agencies in achieving Zero Trust architectures and aligning with CNSA 2.0 timelines, safeguarding sensitive data against current and future threats.
Federal mandates from the DoW Zero Trust Strategy to OMB M-22-09 and OMB M-26-15 require agencies to adopt phishing-resistant authentication and post-quantum cryptography on aggressive timelines.
