Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule Expands Access to Post-Quantum Solutions
The urgency to upgrade cryptographic systems against future quantum threats is now compounded by strict deadlines; key establishment protocols require updates by the end of 2030, with digital signatures following by the end of 2031. QuSecure, a leader in post-quantum cryptography, is addressing this challenge by making its QuProtect R3 platform available through Carahsoft’s General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contract, a move designed to streamline procurement for U.S. government agencies.
This expanded access aims to alleviate a significant hurdle in adopting crucial post-quantum security measures. Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule contract serves as a pre-negotiated agreement, simplifying the purchasing process for government entities and reducing administrative overhead. The QuProtect R3 platform is a fully integrated solution intended to help organizations identify, correct, and manage cryptographic risks as they transition to post-quantum security standards.
It unifies continuous discovery, active remediation, and real-time reporting into a single system, offering comprehensive visibility into an organization’s cryptographic environment, a level of insight that traditional, periodic audits cannot provide. The platform’s recon module delivers a live inventory of cryptographic assets across diverse systems, including cloud, on-premise, and legacy infrastructure. This capability allows security teams to quickly pinpoint vulnerabilities and prioritize risks before they can be exploited.
Built-in reporting tools generate automated compliance outputs, such as Cryptographic Bill of Materials, aligned with evolving Federal standards. Recent Federal guidance has formalized the timeline for this transition, setting December 31, 2030, as the deadline for upgrading key-establishment protocols and December 31, 2031, for digital-signature upgrades on high-value Federal systems.
This narrowing window is driving demand for solutions like QuProtect R3, which promise to fast-track these upgrades without requiring changes to underlying code or infrastructure.
