On August 28, 2026, Pasqal’s ordinary shares will begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “PSQL,” establishing a timeline for public investment in neutral-atom quantum computing. Founded in 2019 on research that earned a Nobel Prize, Pasqal is now led by a Board of Directors chaired by co-founder Alain Aspect, the 2022 Nobel laureate in Physics.
“As we begin this next chapter as a public company, we are fortunate to have a board that combines scientific leadership, operational experience, and capital-markets expertise,” said Wasiq Bokhari, Chief Executive Officer of Pasqal. The company builds and operates neutral-atom quantum computers for customers including Saudi Aramco and LG Electronics.
Nasdaq Listing Establishes Pasqal Holding SA Board of Directors
Pasqal’s transition to a publicly traded company is now overseen by a nine-member Board of Directors, established after completing its business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. A majority of the directors are independent, adhering to SEC and Nasdaq regulations, with designated chairs leading the Audit, Compensation, and Nominating & Corporate Governance Committees. The board’s composition reflects expertise intended to guide Pasqal’s expansion; Barbara Dalibard, chair of the Michelin Supervisory Board, and Michel Combes, serving as Lead Independent Director, are among its members.
The company’s quantum computing systems are currently utilized by organizations including Saudi Aramco, Crédit Agricole CIB, and LG Electronics, addressing complex challenges in energy, financial services, and materials science. Pasqal also maintains partnerships with NVIDIA and is part of the IBM Quantum Network. Pasqal’s hardware platform supports current analog workloads while being designed for future fault-tolerant quantum computing, offering both on-premises and cloud access to its technology.
We expect their guidance to help us scale neutral-atom quantum computing and deliver value to customers and shareholders over the years ahead.
