Quantum Elements has appointed Ben Pressley as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing in a leader with a proven track record of scaling software companies during periods of rapid expansion. During a four-year tenure at Afterpay, Pressley helped drive a ten-fold increase in revenue and onboarded over 25,000 merchants before the company’s acquisition by Block. Prior to joining Quantum Elements, he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Advisor at fabric, further developing his expertise in go-to-market execution. “Ben’s experience will be instrumental in helping us bring our technology to market and build a strong revenue organization,” said Izhar Medalsy, Co-Founder and CEO of Quantum Elements, indicating the company’s intent to accelerate commercialization of its AI-powered digital twins for quantum computing developers.
Ben Pressley Appointed Chief Revenue Officer to Scale Commercial Presence
Quantum Elements’ rapid growth in the quantum computing digital twin sector received a boost with the appointment of Ben Pressley as Chief Revenue Officer; the move signals an intention to accelerate commercialization following a period of development since emerging in 2023. This experience is particularly relevant given Quantum Elements’ focus on translating complex quantum computing concepts into accessible, commercially viable applications for developers. Before fabric, Pressley spent four years at Afterpay, a period marked by substantial growth culminating in its acquisition by Block; as Executive Vice President of Sales, Operations & Strategy, the company reportedly achieved a ten-fold increase in revenue. This expansion included not only revenue growth but also Pressley’s teams onboarding over 25,000 merchants, demonstrating a capacity to build and manage scalable operational infrastructure.
This ability to simultaneously expand customer acquisition and operational capacity is a key asset for Quantum Elements as it seeks to establish itself in the quantum computing ecosystem. “Ben has an exceptional track record of building go-to-market strategies and revenue engines that help software companies scale quickly and effectively,” said Izhar Medalsy, CEO of Quantum Elements. Pressley’s experience extends beyond Afterpay, having previously held leadership roles at Magento, where he spearheaded global expansion and quadrupled revenue before its acquisition by Adobe, and Novell, where he drove channel expansion and enterprise sales growth. This breadth of experience across different stages of company development suggests a versatile skillset applicable to Quantum Elements’ current scaling phase. “Quantum Elements is operating in one of the most important technology shifts of our time,” said Pressley, expressing enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth.
As Quantum Elements enters its next phase of growth, Ben’s experience will be instrumental in helping us bring our technology to market and build a world-class revenue organization.
