Quantinuum reported 279% revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026, reaching $8 million compared to $2 million in the same period last year. This surge in commercial traction coincides with a key technical advancement: the company demonstrated near five-nines logical fidelity on its Helios system, a milestone in error correction for quantum computation. “Our second quarter performance demonstrated strong execution against our strategy,” said Rajeeb Hazra, President and CEO of Quantinuum, as the company also announced the first industry partnership of its kind with Oracle to deploy Helios on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Quantinuum’s 279% Revenue Growth and FY2026 Outlook
This substantial growth coincides with key technological advancements and strategic partnerships designed to broaden the company’s reach and solidify its position in the emerging quantum field. The company’s financial performance reflects accelerating commercial momentum and a strengthened supply chain, according to recent announcements. This level of fidelity, representing approximately 99.999% accuracy, showcases significant progress in building reliable and scalable quantum processors. The achievement relies on a novel quantum error correction code family, reinforcing Quantinuum’s leadership in fault tolerance, a necessary component for practical quantum applications.
This advancement is particularly important as it moves the technology closer to solving complex problems currently intractable for even the most powerful classical computers. A key element of Quantinuum’s expansion strategy is a partnership with Oracle, integrating Helios into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
This collaboration will allow users to access Quantinuum’s quantum computing capabilities as a service within the OCI ecosystem, enabling hybrid quantum-AI workloads. By operating on-premises within Oracle’s infrastructure, Helios is anticipated to seamlessly integrate with existing OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services, all under the same governance and access controls customers currently utilize.
Quantinuum is also actively strengthening its supply chain through a strategic collaboration with a major global electronics manufacturer, focusing on co-developing the infrastructure, systems engineering, and manufacturing capabilities needed for future generations of quantum computers, addressing a critical bottleneck in scaling quantum technology. Quantinuum has entered into a letter of intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s CHIPS R&D Office, aiming to bolster onshore supply chains and accelerate U.S. leadership in trapped-ion quantum computing. These initiatives demonstrate a commitment to securing the resources and expertise necessary for long-term growth and innovation.
Quantinuum’s developer ecosystem is also expanding, with over 180 organizations now utilizing the cloud-based Nexus platform to build new quantum applications. The launch of Guppy Playpond, a web-based environment for learning and testing code in the Guppy quantum programming language, is designed to further accelerate adoption and foster a broader community of quantum developers. The company also expanded its Startup Partner Program with Qedma, integrating its error suppression and mitigation software into the Nexus platform, providing users with an additional optimization layer to improve accuracy for complex workloads.
Looking ahead, Quantinuum is establishing its first formal guidance as a public company, projecting revenue between $28 and $32 million for the full year 2026. The company currently holds over $2.1 billion in cash and cash equivalents, providing the financial flexibility to invest in its business plans while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital allocation. Development continues on future systems, with the Sol trap chip already back from fabrication and undergoing product validation, and the Apollo architecture progressing through prototyping, scheduled for release in 2029.
