Quantum eMotion is acquiring key technology assets through the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of SKV Technology Inc., a California-based cybersecurity company. The assets include the SecureKey platform developed and commercialized by Jet Lab Technologies Inc. and held by SKV. According to Dr. Francis Bellido, CEO of Quantum eMotion, “Sentry-Q orchestrates quantum-grade entropy and security policy at the cloud layer. SecureKey enforces that trust at the execution boundary through hardened cryptographic software integrated with hardware environments.”
Sentry-Q and SecureKey: Full-Stack Quantum-Resilient Security Architecture
SecureKey delivers hardware-grade security protections not through dedicated hardware, but via cryptographic software functioning across cloud, network and embedded environments, a distinction notable in a field often reliant on specialized silicon. The platform implements and accelerates secure channels established by Quantum eMotion’s Sentry-Q, operating directly on devices to protect keys through hardened software controls integrated with hardware boundaries, preventing both extraction and tampering. This architecture provides TLS/IPsec/VPN/session offload and acceleration, establishing end-to-end secure tunnels at the edge, within devices, system-on-chips, network interface controllers and controllers.
The combined Sentry-Q and SecureKey system is designed to deliver end-to-end quantum-safe security extending from the cloud to the chip, with policy-driven peer-to-peer communication enforced at the device boundary. This approach allows for rapid cryptography migration through orchestration coupled with firmware-level acceleration, offering immediate applicability across AI data centers, energy systems, defense, industrial IoT, blockchain and critical infrastructure.
A key component of the acquisition is a patent-pending, “memory-less” cryptographic architecture designed to eliminate persistent key storage, addressing what research identifies as the primary cause of cybersecurity breaches: stolen keys and credentials. Jason Thomas, founder of SKV and Jet Lab, emphasized the platform’s design philosophy, stating, “SecureKey was built to eliminate persistent key exposure and to bring hardware-grade protection into deployable software environments.” He further explained that integrating SecureKey with Quantum eMotion’s Sentry-Q platform delivers a powerful architecture combining quantum-grade entropy with execution-bound enforcement, positioning the company to serve critical infrastructure, cloud, defense and regulated markets. Jason Thomas will join Quantum eMotion in an executive development role, supporting product integration, commercialization and expansion of SecureKey within the company’s quantum-resilient cybersecurity roadmap.
Sentry-Q orchestrates quantum-grade entropy and security policy at the cloud layer. SecureKey enforces that trust at the execution boundary through hardened cryptographic software integrated with hardware environments. Together, Sentry-Q + SecureKey deliver full-stack quantum-resilient security – from QRNG-generated entropy to endpoint enforcement – dramatically reducing key exposure risks while accelerating post-quantum migration.
