Nu Quantum, Cisco, NTT Data, OQC, QphoX, Quantinuum and QuEra established the Quantum Datacenter Alliance in 2025 to address a critical challenge: integrating quantum hardware into existing data center infrastructure. On October 1, 2026, the Alliance will host its second annual forum at Battersea Power Station in London, bringing together leaders from both quantum and classical computing.
The event will focus on building datacenter-scale quantum computers and accelerating the timeline to fault-tolerance; Carmen Palacios-Berraquero, CEO of Nu Quantum, said, “Cross-industry collaboration is essential to delivering utility-scale quantum computers.” Leaders from NVIDIA, IBM, and Quantinuum will present their visions for scaling the technology.

Sessions will span the entire computing stack, acknowledging that solving these complex problems requires a collaborative approach beyond any single organization. Robert Stockill, CTO at QphoX, emphasized the opportunity the forum provides, stating, “With so many experts in quantum data center design and implementation gathered at the QDA Forum, we have a unique chance to understand the latest advancements in scalable quantum computing and stimulate the next round of innovation in these powerful and rapidly evolving systems.” The Alliance is deliberately curating a smaller attendee list to foster in-depth, cross-disciplinary exchange, prioritizing expertise and diverse perspectives across the quantum networking stack.
