The aerospace and defense company is now utilizing Xanadu’s PennyLane quantum programming stack and educational resources to upskill its existing workforce, drawing from backgrounds ranging from mechanical engineering to computer science. Through interactive tutorials and hands-on exercises, Lockheed Martin aims to equip engineers with practical quantum computing skills applicable to critical research and development work. “To fully leverage the power of quantum computing, we need a workforce that is ready to take advantage of what these machines do best,” said Dr. Christian Weedbrook, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xanadu.
