SDT’s full-stack QuREKA quantum cloud will commercially debut at Quantum Korea, July 2 to 4 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, powered by MIMIQ, a high-performance quantum emulator developed by QPerfect SAS. BTQ Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq: BTQ) (Cboe CA: BTQ) has received Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) approval to fully acquire QPerfect, making QuREKA’s launch one of the first commercial applications of that technology. MIMIQ allows users to design and validate circuits at scales of up to thousands of qubits, exceeding the capacity of current physical hardware and accelerating quantum research and development. “QuREKA’s commercial launch is exactly the kind of milestone we had in mind as we pursued the acquisition of QPerfect,” said Olivier Roussy Newton, CEO and Chairman of BTQ, adding that the platform will give Korean researchers and enterprises direct access to QPerfect’s technology.
QuREKA Platform Launch Integrates QPerfect’s MIMIQ Emulator
The commercial unveiling of SDT’s QuREKA quantum cloud platform, powered by QPerfect’s MIMIQ emulator, signals a significant step toward accessible quantum computing resources, particularly within the South Korean market. BTQ Technologies Corp. This expanded capacity is intended to accelerate both research and development and prepare workflows for future quantum processors. The commercial release transitions MIMIQ from an early-access integration to a fully commercialized service, with SDT operating the customer-facing platform and QPerfect maintaining the underlying emulator technology. Beyond the software, SDT is showcasing its broader quantum capabilities, including a new 4K cryogenic system building on last year’s CryoRack, the first 10 mK-class cryogenic refrigerator manufactured in Korea. This new platform is designed to support a range of quantum technologies, from chip-based ion traps to superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors.
SDT also plans to debut a precision control system capable of managing hundreds of qubits simultaneously, and a laser-frequency control system for neutral-atom quantum computers operating with over 1,000 atoms. Jiwon Yune, CEO of SDT, emphasized the collaborative effort driving this advancement, stating, “This event brings together the manufacturing capability we have built, the supply chain we have stabilized, and the global partnerships we have cultivated.” According to the company, the platform will create a direct cloud-based channel for Korean research institutions and enterprises to access QPerfect’s technology and, upon the acquisition’s closure, will represent an important commercial channel for BTQ’s quantum software portfolio.
MIMIQ is now doing real commercial work inside a full-stack quantum platform in one of the world’s most advanced quantum markets.
