Srirama Engineering College is the first college in Tirupati to begin a quantum computing initiative, a development for the region’s developing quantum technology sector. The college signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BLOQ Quantum Pvt Ltd, a company based in Kerala, to advance education and research in the field. This collaboration grants Srirama Engineering College access to the BLOQ Quantum Computing Platform, allowing hands-on learning for students and faculty; BLOQ Quantum CEO Sreekuttan L S said this initiative reflects the college’s vision for preparing students for future technologies.

Srirama Engineering College has become the first institution in Tirupati to offer students hands-on experience with quantum computing, a development signaling growing regional interest in the field. The collaboration extends beyond platform access to foster joint research, specifically in Quantum Machine Learning (QML). Mannem Ramireddy, Chairman of Srirama Engineering College, along with key administrators and faculty, attended the MoU signing, demonstrating institutional commitment to this emerging field.
