Congruity360 will integrate IonQ’s Clavis quantum key distribution (QKD) pairs and Solteris Network Appliances into its data management platform, protecting sensitive enterprise data for clients in sectors like finance and healthcare. Jordan Shapiro, President of Quantum Platform at IonQ, said that the White House’s June 2026 executive order accelerates federal post-quantum deadlines to 2030 and extends them to contractors, as companies prepare for stricter data-protection obligations and longer retention requirements.

This collaboration is valued at $8.18 million, marking one of the largest commercial quantum security agreements finalized in the United States to date. Congruity360’s clientele span finance, healthcare, legal services, manufacturing, defense, and higher education, sectors bound by stringent data protection and long-term retention mandates. The company focuses on unstructured data management and governance, adding a quantum layer to existing capabilities. This approach addresses the need for confidentiality extending far into the future, a critical consideration for long-lived datasets.

Brian Davidson, CEO of Congruity360, emphasized the urgency of advanced cybersecurity measures, stating, “With the accelerating advance toward Artificial General Intelligence, cyber security must evolve faster than most businesses are ready for.” Congruity360’s collaboration with IonQ aims to position security as central to data management decisions and pioneer the next phase of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). This agreement builds on IonQ’s existing deployments of quantum-safe networks in Switzerland, Europe, and Florida.
