QTREX Quantum’s AME segment drives $1.55M in first half

QTREX Quantum reported first half revenue of $1.55 million, a 438% increase, driven by its newly acquired Additively Manufactured Electronics and Quantum segment in 86 days. The company launched INSU300 on September 23, 2026, the first native RF dielectric developed for superconducting quantum computing, and initial validation deployments are underway at two government and defense organizations.

The company stated that it launched INSU300 and a dedicated AME system, targeting a core scaling limit in quantum computing: reducing signal loss and increasing density within dilution cryostats. QTREX Quantum, which trades on Nasdaq as QTEX, expects to announce additional commercial agreements this quarter.

Record $1.55M Revenue Driven by AME and Quantum Segment

The rapid integration of a recent acquisition propelled QTREX Quantum to a record $1.55 million in revenue during the first half of 2026, entirely generated by its Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME) and Quantum segment within 86 days of the April 6th deal closing. This substantial increase, a 438% jump from the $289,000 reported in the first half of 2025, demonstrates a swift return on investment following the company’s expansion into quantum computing infrastructure.

The financial results also reveal a consolidated gross margin of 61% for the period, indicating efficient production and pricing strategies within the newly acquired business. QTREX anticipates further expansion of its customer base and expects to announce additional commercial agreements in the fourth quarter of 2026, as well as provide a comprehensive financial outlook for 2027.

The company’s strategy centers on addressing core scaling limitations in superconducting quantum computers by engineering the dielectric, conductor, and 3D geometry as a single, integrated system. The $2.0 million acquisition price for the AME platform included a unique payment structure designed to align the interests of both parties. Contingent consideration will be paid only from net cash generated through the sale of inventory and property acquired with the business over the next twelve months, incentivizing efficient asset management and revenue generation.

This approach reflects QTREX’s confidence in the acquired technology’s market potential and its ability to rapidly translate development into commercial sales. The company’s platform specifically targets high-density, thermally optimized quantum connectivity for dilution cryostats, a critical component in maintaining the extremely low temperatures required for quantum computation.

Beyond financial metrics, QTREX has actively engaged with the quantum computing community, presenting its interconnect architecture at IEEE Quantum Week in Toronto and exhibiting the INSU300-built demonstrator at Quantum World Congress Park, Maryland, QTREX Quantum says. These events facilitated technical exchanges and fostered relationships with potential partners and customers. A leading U.S. interconnect manufacturer has transitioned its AME system from development to production following a validation program that achieved a 97% yield, demonstrating the reliability and scalability of the technology, according to QTREX Quantum.

“Since then, we have agreed additional requirements and completed several testing stages addressing specific parameters of its systems, advancing toward the performance and integration requirements of a partner at this level.” The company’s reach extends into the government sector, with QTREX AME systems currently operating at two U.S. government laboratories with active quantum programs. On September 2, 2026, one of Israel’s three largest defense companies initiated deployment of QTREX’s AME technology under a phased program, further solidifying the company’s position in the defense and security market.

QTREX also received a commercial order for customized shielded RF monolithic components from a leading government-owned international company and began production, alongside manufacturing a cryogenic chip carrier for one of the largest U.S.-based technology companies developing full-stack quantum computing systems. “We are building QTREX to become a dominant technology provider for superconducting quantum computing,” Ben-Noon added.

“Bringing proprietary materials, manufacturing processes, and component design into one platform creates multiple paths for integration across the hardware of these systems.” The company’s current focus is on addressing thermal load, signal integrity, and the physical constraints of scaling quantum systems, using its manufacturing capabilities and collaborative partnerships to advance new materials and integrated components, the company says. “The pace we have established sets the bar for what comes next, and what we have announced so far is a small part of what is in motion,” Ben-Noon concluded.

With INSU300, we launched the material and the dedicated system on the timetable we set. The initial deployments at two government and defense organizations are for validation within their own systems.
