Gina Fratarcangeli, formerly a Managing Director at Google overseeing an $8 billion ecosystem, now joins Qtonic Quantum as Senior Advisor for AI Transformation and Global Alliances. This move brings three decades of enterprise leadership to the firm’s strategy, which focuses on identifying cryptographic exposure, validating security risk, and establishing a remediation path. “Customers need a clear connection between what an assessment finds and what their organization should do next,” says Mark Schrick, Executive Vice President at Qtonic Quantum, explaining that Fratarcangeli’s expertise aims to connect cybersecurity capabilities with the partners responsible for implementing them.
Fratarcangeli’s Enterprise Leadership Drives Qtonic Quantum’s Post-Quantum Strategy
Gina Fratarcangeli’s arrival at Qtonic Quantum expands the firm’s reach into established enterprise networks, bringing with her a track record of managing an $8 billion ecosystem as a former Managing Director at Google. Her focus as Senior Advisor will be AI Transformation and Global Alliances, a strategic appointment signaling Qtonic Quantum’s intent to integrate post-quantum security into existing enterprise AI and cloud deployments.
Fratarcangeli’s experience extends beyond Google to include leadership roles at Accenture, IBM and Genpact, demonstrating a broad understanding of how large organizations approach technological modernization. Qtonic Quantum’s core strategy is designed to address the practical challenges of post-quantum adoption for businesses.
This methodology moves beyond simple vulnerability assessments, aiming to deliver actionable intelligence that informs concrete remediation plans, the company says. Fratarcangeli said, “What drew me to Qtonic Quantum is the discipline behind Find. Prove. Fix.” She explained that it gives customers a way to move from questions about their exposure to evidence and an actionable plan.
This emphasis on a clear path forward is intended to bridge the gap between technical findings and executive decision-making, a critical factor in securing funding and driving implementation. The company’s three-part offering, QScout, QStrike, and QSolve, supports this strategy by first identifying cryptographic vulnerabilities, then validating the associated risks through testing, and finally translating those findings into prioritized remediation plans.
Mark Schrick, Executive Vice President, Strategic Accounts & Global Alliances at Qtonic Quantum, explained that Fratarcangeli’s expertise will be instrumental in building partnerships that encompass the entire customer journey. “Gina understands how enterprise leaders, technology providers and delivery partners make those decisions together,” Schrick said.
“Her guidance will help our team build partnerships around the customer’s entire journey—from understanding exposure to planning and carrying out the work.” Fratarcangeli emphasized that successful enterprise adoption requires more than just technological confidence; it demands a clear business case and a shared understanding of how the work will be executed. Her advisory role will center on aligning post-quantum readiness with broader AI, cloud, and infrastructure transformation programs, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into ongoing modernization efforts and that joint offerings are developed with key systems integrators and cloud providers.
Enterprise adoption takes a clear business case, confidence in the technology and agreement on how the work will get done.
