AudioCodes’ Roger Chuchen joins quantum firm Pasqal

Pasqal appointed Roger L. Chuchen as Head of Investor Relations following its Nasdaq listing in August, a relatively swift move to public markets for the neutral-atom quantum computing firm. Chuchen will lead Pasqal’s investor relations, communicating the company’s strategy to the financial community and strengthening shareholder relationships. Stéphane Rougeot, Chief Financial Officer of Pasqal, said that Roger joins Pasqal at an important time in the company’s evolution as a public company, adding that Chuchen’s 25 years of experience in technology and investment management will be valuable as Pasqal scales its operations.

Pasqal Expands Investor Relations with AudioCodes’ Roger Chuchen

Roger L. Chuchen’s appointment signals Pasqal’s commitment to formalizing communication with the financial community as it expands commercial operations and its global customer base. He will lead the establishment of Pasqal’s investor relations function, collaborating with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to articulate the company’s investment strategy and strengthen relationships with shareholders. Chuchen also oversees investor communications and disclosure activities, ensuring transparency in Pasqal’s rapidly evolving market position.

Prior to joining Pasqal, he served as Vice President of Investor Relations at AudioCodes, where he directed investor engagement and financial communications. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Citigroup Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and J. Goldman & Co., L.P., building a broad understanding of capital markets and technology sectors.

“Pasqal has established itself as a leading player in quantum computing, with a differentiated technology approach, growing commercial momentum and a clear long-term vision,” Chuchen said, expressing enthusiasm for building the investor relations function, strengthening engagement with analysts and supporting Pasqal’s continued growth. He emphasized the opportunity presented by the company’s recent public listing to connect with a wider global audience.

Ivy Delaney has been working with neural networks and machine learning since the mid-nineties, back when a couple of hidden layers and a long afternoon of training counted as ambitious. She has watched the field go from academic curiosity to the thing quietly running underneath everything, and she brings that long view to quantum computing. For Quantum Zeitgeist she covers the ground where the two fields meet. That means quantum machine learning and the variational algorithms it leans on, and it also means the less glamorous but more interesting story of classical machine learning already doing real work inside quantum machines, decoding error-correcting codes, calibrating noisy hardware and learning the error models that simulators depend on. She writes about the hardware those algorithms have to run on too, and about the post-quantum cryptography scramble that the same hardware has set off. Her stories typically start with the paper, whether that is peer-reviewed work, conference proceedings or an arXiv preprint, with the source linked so you can hold a claim up against the research it came from. She is unimpressed by benchmarks that will not say what they beat, and by demonstrations that only work in the press release.
