Korea Quantum Computing (KQC) intends to begin trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the symbol “KQC” following a proposed business combination with Charlton Aria Acquisition Corporation. The companies announced on October 7, 2026, that they have entered into a definitive agreement for the transaction, which is anticipated to finalize during the first half of 2027, pending shareholder approval from Charlton Aria and an extension of their business combination deadline.
KQC Parent, the Delaware-based parent company of Korea Quantum Computing Co., Ltd., will remain the ultimate owner of the combined entity, with Charlton Aria becoming a wholly owned subsidiary. The presentation will focus on KQC’s offerings in quantum computing and quantum-safe security, including current customer projects and its commercialization strategy. KQC, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Busan, South Korea, assists enterprises in adopting quantum technologies and securing their data against future threats.
The company’s Qubiteer platform uses artificial intelligence to translate complex business challenges into models suitable for both classical and quantum computing methods. KQC also provides access to quantum computing systems from D-Wave and integrates post-quantum cryptography products for clients in finance, industry and the public sector.
