Quantinuum and Oracle Advance Hybrid Quantum-AI Computing

Quantinuum’s most advanced quantum computer, Helios, is now accessible via the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, eliminating the need for organizations to build their own specialized quantum infrastructure. The launch of the OCI Quantum AI Compute Beta Program this month offers select organizations cloud-based access to both Helios and Oracle’s GPU and HPC resources.

This partnership aims to create a path for hybrid quantum AI computing at enterprise scale, built on the belief that some of the most valuable future applications will emerge when quantum computing, AI and classical HPC work together to tackle problems that remain difficult to solve today. Quantinuum and Oracle leaders will discuss this vision further at Oracle AI World 2026.

Helios and OCI Enable Early Access to Hybrid Quantum-AI Computing

Participants in the beta program will gain access to Helios, Quantinuum’s most accurate commercial quantum computer, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s GPU and high-performance computing resources. This setup eliminates the need for prospective users to independently construct specialized quantum infrastructure, streamlining the evaluation process for hybrid workflows. The partnership between Quantinuum and Oracle is designed to move beyond simply deploying quantum hardware. The companies aim to establish a practical pathway for incorporating quantum computing into enterprise environments already using artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.

Organizations interested in participating can apply through Oracle’s OCI Preview Programs portal. Oracle will review applications and select participants based on eligibility, capacity and program requirements. The companies suggest focusing on workloads consuming disproportionate resources or where a new computational capability could provide a competitive advantage.

This approach prioritizes problem-first exploration, rather than technology-first implementation. “Powering the Next Era of Enterprise AI” will be a key topic at Oracle AI World 2026, where Larry Stack, Chief Commercial Officer at Quantinuum, will join Mahesh Thiagarajan, Executive Vice President and Head of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, to discuss the potential of combined quantum, AI and HPC resources. The upcoming discussion will center on a fundamental question for many organizations: where to begin.

Rather than focusing on the technology itself, the session will explore how organizations can pinpoint high-value problems, establish current performance baselines and then evaluate where quantum computing can offer a demonstrable advantage. Quantinuum and Oracle experts will also detail how integrating Helios into OCI provides managed access to quantum computing within an enterprise cloud environment, specifically designed to support hybrid quantum-AI workflows.

The collaboration is progressing from initial vision to practical execution, with Helios installation underway and enterprise interest growing in hybrid computing models. The companies anticipate continued conversation at Oracle AI World 2026 and collaboration with customers seeking to understand the real-world value of hybrid quantum-AI computing.

“Powering the Next Era of Enterprise AI,” Larry Stack, Chief Commercial Officer at Quantinuum, will join Mahesh Thiagarajan, Executive Vice President and Head of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, to discuss how quantum computing, AI and classical HPC can work together to address some of the world’s most computationally demanding challenges.
