More than 5,000 fiber and digital infrastructure professionals will gather at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for Fiber Connect 2027, June 13-16, 2027, as the Fiber Broadband Association expands its expo to include a new AI & Quantum Infrastructure Pavilion. This dedicated space will connect the fiber ecosystem with leaders developing artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data center technologies, recognizing the growing demand these technologies place on high-capacity networks.
“The next wave of innovation will place new demands on our networks,” said Jessica Koch, FBA Conference Committee Chair, “and Fiber Connect will be where the people creating those technologies meet the people building the digital infrastructure to support them.” The pavilion will feature live proof of concept demonstrations, showcasing real-world applications rather than just theoretical discussion.

Fiber Connect 2027 will showcase live proof of concept demonstrations examining how fiber networks and emerging technologies intersect, moving beyond theoretical applications to tangible real-world deployments. The Fiber Broadband Association anticipates these displays will highlight the critical role of high-capacity, low-latency fiber in enabling increasingly complex AI workloads and quantum communications.
Exhibitors will gain access to network operators, wholesale providers, hyperscalers, and investors who regularly attend Fiber Connect, fostering collaboration and innovation. The pavilion’s programming will specifically explore neoclouds, agentic AI, the AI edge, and hyperscale-ready infrastructure, all areas demanding robust fiber network support. The association emphasizes that advances in quantum networking demonstrate the importance of fiber infrastructure’s low-loss, high-bandwidth, and stability in supporting quantum communications.
