MettiTech Group Holdings will launch the sale of its Quantum Proof Coin on the Onfa Fintech platform on October 23, 2026, positioning the company among the first to offer a commercially available cryptocurrency designed to resist quantum computing attacks. The move addresses vulnerabilities in current cryptographic standards like RSA-2048, ECC and ECDSA, which secure global banking and digital identities. Unlike many proposed solutions relying on lattice mathematics, MettiTech’s approach aims to avoid them.
Nicholas T.P. Metti stated, “The convergence of high-performance quantum hardware and public ledger networks is no longer a distant theoretical challenge; it is a near-term strategic imperative.”
Quantum Proof Coin Launch & Ecosystem Overview
These algorithms currently underpin the security of global banking and digital identities, creating a clear and present danger to existing systems. MettiTech’s approach diverges from many Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) solutions that rely on lattice mathematics, which introduce substantial drawbacks. The company contends that lattice-based PQC results in massive signature sizes, heavy bandwidth overhead, reduced transaction throughput and exponentially higher computational and operational costs, MettiTech says.
Instead, QuantumProof (QP) uses a patent-pending Validator-Sharded Two-Factor Authorization (Sharded-2FA) framework to distribute transaction authorization across a decentralized network of validator nodes. This architecture maintains lightweight public ledger functionality and high-speed Ed25519 signatures, achieving sub-second finality with minimal transaction fees. Even if a quantum computer were to derive a user’s private key from their public key, unauthorized asset transfer remains impossible within the QuantumProof system. The Sharded-2FA model requires a valid Quorum threshold, for example, a minimum of five out of seven validator shards, to authorize transactions.
This rigorous three-step process, encompassing Initiate, Authorize and Finalize stages, ensures a high level of security. The development of this technology is supported by multi-year collaborative research and development programs with cryptography laboratories, academic research institutes and university partners across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. These partnerships focus on standardized post-quantum authorization protocols and advanced enterprise data protection. Nicholas T.P.
Metti, Chairman of MettiTech Group Holdings, said, “At MettiTech, our mission is to safeguard decentralized value transfer and enterprise data sovereignty before quantum supremacy renders legacy encryption obsolete.” The Quantum Proof Coin itself is the core utility and settlement asset within the ecosystem, powering 2FA authorization verification fees, validator staking rewards and cross-application settlement for artificial intelligence services, cybersecurity tools, Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization and autonomous robotics. The launch on October 23, 2026, represents a step toward establishing a robust, quantum-resistant infrastructure for the future of finance and data security.
