WISeKey reports its subsidiary SEALSQ Corp now has a commercial pipeline exceeding $225 million through 2029, with over $100 million tied directly to post-quantum projects like the QS7001 and QVault TPM. Revenue for the first half of 2026 rose approximately 116% to $11.4 million, driven by increasing demand for quantum-resistant cryptography among governments and critical infrastructure operators.
“2026 is the year the technologies and investments we have built over many years are coming together as one commercial ecosystem,” said Carlos Moreira, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WISeKey. The company also announced progress on WISeSat and Quantisimo transactions, alongside a new Swiss Post-Quantum Semiconductor Center.
SEALSQ Pipeline Exceeds $225 Million with Post-Quantum Focus
Corp’s contracted commercial pipeline now surpasses $225 million extending through 2029, a figure reflecting escalating demand for quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions as governments and critical infrastructure operators prepare for the advent of widespread quantum computing capabilities. Over $100 million of this pipeline is directly attributable to the company’s Post-Quantum projects, including the QS7001 secure element and QVault Trusted Platform Module. This substantial value highlights growing market confidence in the ability to deliver security in a post-quantum world, a need driven by the potential for current encryption standards to be broken by future quantum computers.
The company’s strategic focus on building a vertically integrated technology stack is supported by a targeted allocation of up to $200 million in internal capital resources. This investment strategy recently included the completion of the acquisition of Miraex SA, a Swiss firm specializing in quantum photonics interconnect technology, on June 2, 2026.
This acquisition expands capabilities in transmitting quantum information, an important component of secure quantum communication networks. The company expanded its Quantum Fund to $200 million, with more than $30 million already deployed. The company signed a $5 million commercial agreement to further integrate technologies. It invested approximately $7.0 million in EeroQ, a U.S.-based quantum computing company, demonstrating a broader strategy of encouraging innovation across the entire quantum ecosystem.
These investments are designed to complement in-house semiconductor expertise, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and secure infrastructure capabilities, creating a comprehensive architecture that anchors security from the silicon level to the quantum bit. WISeKey’s Quantum RootKey is the central element, extending the established Root of Trust, governed by the OISTE Foundation since 1999, into the post-quantum era and across the SEALQUANTUM ecosystem.
The company is actively transitioning its post-quantum semiconductors into commercial production, having achieved key certification milestones for its QS7001 secure element and QVault TPM product lines, the company says. The QS7001 recently received SP 800-90B Entropy Source Validation, a necessary step towards achieving FIPS 140-3 and Common Criteria EAL5+ certifications, demonstrating adherence to rigorous security standards. Engineering samples of the QVault TPM are now available to customers, signaling a move towards wider deployment.
The company secured FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification for its VaultIC408 secure element, validating its robust security features. Strategic partnerships are also playing an important role in expansion. The company is collaborating with GlobalFoundries to co-develop secure semiconductor platforms incorporating Post-Quantum Cryptography solutions, and with Seoul to jointly research and embed quantum-resistant cryptographic keys directly into semiconductor chips. WISeKey is expanding the Quantum Highway to link sovereign tech centers in multiple countries, with nine linked hubs in Spain, France, Switzerland and Chicago.
2026 is the year the technologies and investments we have built over many years are coming together as one commercial ecosystem, and WISeKey is entering the most important commercialization phase in its history.
