The Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) has launched the world’s first global quantum internet technology forum at the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona. The QIA Technology Forum aims to accelerate engagement on quantum internet with stakeholders worldwide. The forum will focus on technical interaction with stakeholders committed to quantum internet technology development. The QIATF is designed to facilitate the transition from research to engineering products and tailored solutions for quantum internet. The forum will serve as a platform for technical interaction with stakeholders committed to the development of quantum internet technology. It will also contribute to the expansion of the global quantum internet ecosystem and its commercial deployment.
QIATF: A Platform for Quantum Internet Development
The QIATF is an open forum that encourages technical interaction with stakeholders dedicated to the development of quantum internet technology. The forum aims to broaden the global quantum internet ecosystem and facilitate its commercial deployment. The QIA invites all interested organizations in Europe and beyond to participate in the QIA Technology Forum.
The forum’s membership is structured to allow for three levels of engagement: Core Member, Adopter Member, and Associate Member. The technical work of the forum will be organized in Special Interest Groups (SIGs), where QIA and relevant stakeholders can bridge the knowledge gap between established industry players and QIA members.
