IonQ team to present at Dubai’s quantum innovation event

The Quantum Innovation Summit, running September 28-30 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, signals a shift from theoretical quantum computing to practical implementation concerns. Day one of the summit will convene regulators, financial institutions, and telecom operators for a tabletop exercise simulating a post-quantum cryptography transition. Organizers are addressing how to determine which systems should migrate first, as organizations move beyond acknowledging the need for migration to grappling with its complex logistics. The summit’s published agenda states that an organization delaying this sequencing may discover dependencies when they are most expensive to resolve.

IonQ secured a 24 square meter exhibition stand, double the standard size, positioning them prominently among attendees at the third edition of the summit. The event, hosted by the UAE Cyber Security Council and organized by Vernewell Group, is part of a larger Global Quantum Week extending to October 5. Participants will include regulators, telecom operators, financial institutions, and government digital services.
