CodeCoin launched a new Visa network payment card secured by quantum encryption during a side event at the 2026 Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Bangkok. The Hong Kong-based blockchain payment infrastructure company has also partnered with Dune Fintech to integrate its card technology, signaling a move beyond theoretical development toward practical application, CodeCoin says.
CodeCoin founder and CEO Benny Wong emphasized the importance of multi-jurisdiction licensing, fund segregation and transparent settlement infrastructure in building trust in digital payments. The launch is part of a broader strategy to connect compliant digital payment instruments with established global payment networks.

The card enables real-time funding and settlement of transactions using CUSD, CodeCoin’s digital payment instrument, accessible through a mobile application and compatible with Apple Pay for both online and in-store purchases. Beyond the card itself, CodeCoin has formalized a technology partnership with Dune Fintech to facilitate the integration of digital payment assets into applications supporting the Visa network.
CodeCoin announced a card product technology integration partnership with Dune Fintech. The company also signed Memoranda of Understanding with Tiger Brokers and Dragon Rise Group, outlining plans to explore cooperative ventures in compliant digital asset clearing and lending, bridging traditional finance with CodeCoin’s digital infrastructure.
These strategic MOUs suggest a broader ambition to build an ecosystem around the card, extending its reach beyond simple payment processing. CodeCoin and CBIT jointly released the Southeast Asia Fintech Policy Green Paper, examining regulatory developments, financial technology opportunities and strategic considerations across ASEAN markets. “The company’s payment infrastructure strategy focuses on regulatory compliance, transaction auditability, fund security and interoperability between digital payment instruments and traditional financial systems,” CodeCoin stated, highlighting its commitment to a secure and transparent framework.
The company currently holds a digital payment instrument issuer licence issued by the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in Kazakhstan and is focused on the compliant issuance of CUSD. Cardholders can also benefit from promotional rewards up to US$1,000, cashback of up to 8% on eligible prepaid spending, and monthly prize draws, further incentivizing adoption of the new payment method. Through these combined efforts, CodeCoin aims to advance the practical application of compliant digital payment instruments in consumer payments and international financial transactions.
