Strangeworks and Quantinuum Teams Up to build the world’s First Cryptographic Key Service using Quantum Computers.

Two world-leading quantum tech companies, Strangeworks, and Quantinuum, partner together to offer vertically integrated solutions that incorporate the world’s fastest quantum computer and comprehensive, hardware-agnostic quantum software. The Quantum Origin from Quantinuum is the world’s first commercial product to create cryptographic keys using quantum computers, providing customers instant access to superior cryptographic keys and assisting in cybersecurity defence.

It’s fitting that Strangeworks would expand its industry-leading platform to include quantum technology to help defend against today’s cyber threats.

We are excited to integrate Quantum Origin to generate the strongest cryptographic keys for Strangeworks and their customers, based on verifiable quantum randomness.

Duncan Jones, Head of Cybersecurity at Quantinuum and Cambridge Quantum

Quantinuum‘s quantum-enhanced cryptographic keys will be adopted by Strangeworks, becoming a primary component of its ecosystem. This world-leading group of developers and quantum physicists seeks to provide newly innovated and most cutting-edge quantum-based security services to its customers and Quantum Syndicate members, which will be tethered through Strangeworks’ ecosystem.

With the increase of the availability of quantum systems and data sharing of clients, it is a primary concern to set up and strengthen its cybersecurity technology. By using the Quantum Origin, Strangeworks will be the first to carry out a seamless path to quantum-generated cryptographic keys for its quantum computing ecosystem, enabling rapid adoption and insights into how the technology is performing through its productive, yet anonymous, feedback loop.

We’re excited to welcome Quantinuum into the Quantum Syndicate. Expanding our managed quantum services to encompass cyber security is a natural addition to our enterprise offerings.

The integration of Quantum Origin enables enterprises around the world with a seamless path to quantum-generated cryptographic keys to protect their sensitive data.

William Hurley, founder and CEO of Strangeworks.
