Perhaps one of the lingest running conferences that plays host to some of the most famous names in the quantum world will take play in 2021 on May 6th to hear from the likes of Peter Shor and Charles Bennett. Since 1981 the conference has taken place and this year marks the 40th anniversary – when in 1981 quantum technology has little practical application. That has all changed with cloud based quantum computers available to developers around the planet. Come and listen to the likes of Peter Shor, Peter Girvin, and Charles Bennett about the latest physics developments.
Forty years ago, a ragtag group of 50 thinkers arranged themselves for a photo on the lawn of MIT’s Endicott House. Few at the Physics of Computation Conference, jointly organized by MIT and IBM, thought they were making history in 1981
