Tectonic Labs Announces Immediate Availability of Post Quantum Wallet

Tectonic Labs announced today, February 19, 2026, the immediate availability of PQ Audits and the launch of PQ Wallet, a post-quantum-ready EVM wallet extension. Recognizing the shift from research to practical implementation in post-quantum cryptography, Tectonic Labs is offering tools to assess quantum risk and plan migrations aligned with NIST standards. The PQ Wallet supports Falcon-512 signatures without requiring changes to Layer 1 Ethereum infrastructure, offering both quantum-secure and quantum-ready operating paths. “Post-quantum signatures are now a scheduling and integration problem as much as a cryptography problem,” said Mike Berman, co-CEO of Tectonic Labs, emphasizing the need for proactive planning to avoid rushed transitions and operational risk. This release positions Tectonic Labs at the forefront of securing Web3 infrastructure against future quantum computing threats.

PQ Wallet Enables Falcon-512 Signatures on EVM Chains

A new browser extension, PQ Wallet, from Tectonic Labs, is now available for Chrome and Firefox, offering a deployable path toward post-quantum signatures on Ethereum and other EVM chains. The wallet utilizes Falcon-512 signatures, a key component in preparing for the advent of quantum computing, without necessitating alterations to Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure. Importantly, the release isn’t just about future-proofing; Tectonic Labs also launched PQ Audits, designed to help organizations assess their quantum risk and formulate migration strategies aligned with NIST standards. PQ Wallet provides a flexible approach, offering both “quantum-secure” and “quantum-ready” modes.

The former immediately employs post-quantum signatures for users prioritizing long-term protection, while the latter maintains classical signing for current economic benefits, pre-configuring the system for a future upgrade. Halborn conducted an audit of the wallet’s security. The PQ Audits come in two scopes: a one-day documentation assessment and a more comprehensive review extending into code analysis, delivering a cryptographic bill of materials and prioritized remediation guidance. “Wallets are where post-quantum readiness becomes real for users and developers,” added Ron Kahat, co-CEO of Tectonic Labs. Early access sign-ups are open, with broader availability planned later in 2026.

PQ Audits Assess Quantum Risk & NIST-Aligned Migration

Tectonic Labs is now offering PQ Audits designed to help organizations navigate the complexities of transitioning to post-quantum cryptography, moving beyond theoretical research into practical implementation. These audits assess cryptographic dependencies and pinpoint quantum-related vulnerabilities across entire systems, delivering a NIST-aligned plan for migration. Two audit scopes are available: the One Day PQ Audit, a documentation-based assessment, and the Full Scope PQ Audit, which extends into code analysis to create a cryptographic bill of materials. The urgency stems from the potential for rushed and brittle integrations if teams delay the transition, according to Tectonic Labs.

The audits specifically address the challenges of staged rollouts, where both legacy and post-quantum systems must operate simultaneously. PQ Audits are available immediately, with a broader release of the PQ Wallet planned later in 2026.

Hybrid Wallets Combine Classical and Post-Quantum Keys

Tectonic Labs is addressing the impending threat of quantum computing with the release of PQ Wallet, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible browser extension and command-line interface designed to integrate post-quantum signatures. Recognizing that simply having quantum-resistant cryptography isn’t enough, the company emphasizes the logistical challenges of implementation, offering a solution that avoids disruptive Layer 1 changes. The wallet supports Falcon-512 signatures, enabling a phased transition to post-quantum security without immediately impacting current EVM economics. PQ Wallet provides a dual operating mode: “quantum-secure” for immediate, long-term protection and “quantum-ready” for pre-configuration of post-quantum functionality as a future upgrade. Complementing the wallet, Tectonic Labs also offers PQ Audits, ranging from a one-day documentation assessment to a full-scope code review, to help organizations map cryptographic dependencies and create NIST-aligned migration plans.

There is so much happening right now in the field of technology, whether AI or the march of robots. Adrian is an expert on how technology can be transformative, especially frontier technologies. But Quantum occupies a special space. Quite literally a special space. A Hilbert space infact, haha! Here I try to provide some of the news that is considered breaking news in the Quantum Computing and Quantum tech space.
