SCALINQ Unveils LINQER600: Largest Commercial Qubit Device, Revolutionising Quantum Computing Landscape

Swedish quantum computing hardware provider, SCALINQ, has launched LINQER600, the largest commercially available packaging solution for controlling quantum devices with hundreds of qubits. Developed in partnership with IQM, the solution has been tested with Radiance, a 150-qubit chip. The LINQER600 is part of a product series that began in 2022 and offers features such as a scalable design, state-of-the-art performance, quick sample exchange, and the ability to host multiple chips at once. SCALINQ’s CEO, Zaid Saeed, highlighted the launch as a testament to the industry’s rapid development and the need for collaborative R&D.

SCALINQ Unveils LINQER600: A Quantum Computing Hardware Revolution

SCALINQ, a Swedish company specializing in quantum computing hardware, has recently announced the launch of LINQER600. This large-scale packaging solution is capable of controlling quantum devices with hundreds of qubits, making it the largest commercially available solution of its kind. This development signifies a significant shift in the quantum computing landscape, as systems of this scale were previously only accessible within major computing companies. Now, universities and companies can progress towards building large-scale quantum computing systems.

The LINQER600 was developed in collaboration with IQM, a global quantum computing company. The product underwent extensive testing with Radiance, a 150-qubit chip, to demonstrate its functionality. The results of these tests will be released at a later date. This project, which included packaging and high-density filters, highlights SCALINQ’s commitment to collaborative innovation and addressing hardware bottlenecks in quantum computing.

LINQER600: A Leap Forward in Quantum Computing

The LINQER600 is the latest addition to the LINQER product series, which was first launched in 2022. This series has been instrumental in aiding researchers worldwide with their experiments. The LINQER600 boasts several key features, including a scalable design, state-of-the-art performance, quick sample exchange, the ability to host multiple chips at once, and a fully non-magnetic design.

The scalable design of the LINQER600 is offered in several variants, ranging from 8 to 600 lines. It has demonstrated state-of-the-art performance with different qubit chips, measuring T1>100us and single qubit gate fidelity >99.9%. The product’s patented connector module allows for quick sample exchange, regardless of the number of connectors. With its modular approach, the LINQER600 can host one or several chips in one holder, and of different sizes. The product has been carefully designed and rigorously tested in quality assurance processes to ensure it is fully non-magnetic.
