Building on successful programs in Europe and North America – which have already incubated over 20 companies – this initiative aims to translate cutting-edge research into tangible solutions, fostering economic growth and solidifying Asia’s position in the rapidly evolving QuantumAI landscape. The launch, timed with Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology, signals a major investment in a technology predicted to redefine industries from finance to data science.

QAI Ventures Launches Singapore QuantumAI Accelerator

QAI Ventures has launched a new QuantumAI Accelerator in Singapore, backed by Enterprise Singapore, signaling a significant push to cultivate the burgeoning QuantumAI landscape in Asia. Building on the success of its programs in Europe and North America—which have already incubated over 20 companies in the last three years, forming a portfolio of 27—QAI Ventures aims to translate scientific breakthroughs into viable businesses at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing. The launch, coinciding with the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) 2025, follows the conclusion of the firm’s Global Quantum Hackathon Series, GenQ, where the winning team, “Quantum Kitties,” comprised of students from NTU Singapore and India’s GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology, was awarded a “Golden Ticket” granting them direct access to the final selection round of the accelerator program. This initiative arrives as part of a broader effort, supported by industry partners like Microsoft, DBS Bank, SoftBank, and Eraneos, to build a robust global QuantumAI ecosystem. According to Alexandra Beckstein, CEO & Founder of QAI Ventures, the accelerator will foster entrepreneurial dynamism and drive economic growth, while Nobushige Oguri of SoftBank Corp. views QuantumAI as a transformative force redefining the future of computing. The program, slated to begin mid-2026, seeks to capitalize on the potential of Quantum Computing to unlock upwards of US$85 billion in value, establishing Singapore as a key hub for QuantumAI innovation.

GenQ Hackathon Announces Winning Team

QAI Ventures recently concluded its Global Quantum Hackathon Series, GenQ, with the announcement of “Quantum Kitties” as the winning team during the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) 2025. The team, comprised of Siddhant Dutta, a PhD student at NTU Singapore’s College of Computing & Data Science, and Pavana P. Karant, an undergraduate at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, secured a coveted “Golden Ticket” – direct access to the final pre-selection round of the QAI Ventures Accelerator Program launching in mid-2026. This prize offers them a significant opportunity to join the inaugural cohort of the Singapore-based accelerator, building on QAI Ventures’ successful incubation of over 20 companies across Europe and North America in the last three years, currently boasting a portfolio of 27 companies. The GenQ Hackathon, which followed events in Calgary and Geneva, drew support from industry leaders including Microsoft, DBS Bank, SoftBank, and Eraneos, underscoring a collaborative effort to foster a robust global QuantumAI ecosystem. According to Alexandra Beckstein, CEO & Founder of QAI Ventures, the accelerator aims to translate QuantumAI breakthroughs into tangible real-world impact, and the program is backed by Enterprise Singapore. Siddhant Dutta expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, highlighting the rewarding experience and the valuable support provided by QAI Ventures throughout the competition. The launch of the Singapore accelerator signifies QAI Venture’s expansion into Asia, focusing on the emerging field of QuantumAI—a convergence of artificial intelligence and quantum computing—and its potential to unlock substantial future opportunities.

Expanding QuantumAI Ecosystem & Partnerships

QAI Ventures is aggressively expanding the QuantumAI ecosystem through strategic partnerships and a newly launched accelerator program in Singapore, backed by Enterprise Singapore. Building on the success of its European and North American programs – which have already incubated over 20 companies within the last three years, comprising a portfolio of 27 – QAI Ventures is now focused on fostering QuantumAI innovation in Asia. This expansion is exemplified by the culmination of their Global Quantum Hackathon Series, GenQ, in Singapore, coinciding with the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) 2025. The winning team, “Quantum Kitties,” comprised of students from NTU Singapore and India’s GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology, secured a “Golden Ticket” granting direct access to the final selection round of the mid-2026 accelerator program. Beyond the accelerator, QAI Ventures is cultivating a robust network of industry collaborators, including Microsoft, DBS Bank, SoftBank, and Eraneos, demonstrating a commitment to building a comprehensive QuantumAI ecosystem. Nobushige Oguri of SoftBank Corp. highlighted QuantumAI as a “transformative force” driving future computing, while Alexandra Beckstein, CEO & Founder of QAI Ventures, emphasized the program’s goal to translate QuantumAI breakthroughs into tangible real-world impact and drive economic growth. This multifaceted approach, combining venture building, acceleration, and deep industry connections, positions QAI Ventures as a key player in turning the potential of QuantumAI into a thriving commercial reality, unlocking an estimated US$85 billion market opportunity.
