OsloMet Hosts IQT Nordics 2026: Quantum Tech in a Changing World

OsloMet University will host the fourth annual IQT Nordics conference in Oslo, Norway, from June 22-24, 2026. Following successful events in Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Gothenburg, IQT Nordics 2026 focuses on “Quantum Technology in a Changing World.” The conference will feature sessions on quantum computing, sensing, and commercialization, alongside networking opportunities with Nordic and international experts.

IQT Nordics 2026: Oslo Location and Event History

IQT Nordics 2026 will be held June 22-24, 2026, at OsloMet University, building on the momentum of previous events. Copenhagen hosted the inaugural conference in 2023, followed by Helsinki in 2024 and Gothenburg in 2025, establishing a rotating Nordic location for this annual gathering. Attendees can participate in a reception at Oslo City Hall and a cruise of Oslo’s waterways, alongside tours of local quantum facilities. These events aim to facilitate collaboration within the growing Nordic quantum startup community and with potential end-users.

“Quantum Europe” Strategy Drives Nordic Quantum Industry Focus

The Nordic quantum industry is gaining momentum, directly influenced by the European Union’s “Quantum Europe in a Changing World” strategy. The event’s focus extends beyond basic research to include commercialization and industrial applications of quantum technologies. IQT Nordics Oslo will address key areas like quantum computing platforms and advancements in quantum sensing. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with both established organizations and the rapidly expanding Nordic quantum startup scene.

IQT Nordics 2026 provides a great opportunity for extending your Nordic network and exploring collaboration with the Nordic quantum ecosystem, not least the thriving quantum startup community and the potential end-users.
