Infleqtion, a company commercialising atom-based quantum systems, has secured $100 million in Series C funding from investors including Glynn Capital, Counterpoint Global (Morgan Stanley), S32, and SAIC. The Colorado-based firm, which generated approximately $30 million in revenue last year and has a customer pipeline exceeding $200 million, intends to utilise the investment to scale its quantum computing, sensing, and timing platforms. Infleqtion’s technology is currently deployed in government and commercial programmes globally, notably with the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre and as a partner in Japan’s Quantum Moonshot programme, and has secured an $11 million contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. The company also announced a go-to-market partnership with SAIC to expand deployment of quantum sensing technologies into defence and aerospace applications.
Quantum computing and atomic sensing are rapidly developing fields. Infleqtion has secured $100 million in Series C funding. Infleqtion is focused on these areas. This investment signals continued confidence in the potential of technologies leveraging the properties of quantum mechanics to deliver enhanced computational power and precision measurement capabilities.
Atomic sensing utilises the quantum states of atoms to create devices with applications in areas such as navigation, materials science, and medical diagnostics. Quantum computing explores the use of quantum-mechanical phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement, to perform complex calculations that are intractable for classical computers.
