The Science and Technology Facilities Council, in partnership with the Harwell Joint Venture, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, and the Department for Business and Trade, officially launched the Harwell Quantum Cluster yesterday at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus. This initiative aims to accelerate quantum innovation and scale emerging technologies, with a goal of attracting £1 billion in investment and creating over 1,000 high-value jobs within the next decade. At launch, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Quantum Exponential Group plc to accelerate the commercialization and scale-up of UK quantum innovation.
