Crusoe and AMD Partner to Deliver High-Performance AI Cloud Solutions

Crusoe, a vertically integrated AI infrastructure provider, has announced a collaboration with AMD to deliver enhanced cloud solutions for artificial intelligence workloads. The partnership will integrate AMD’s high-performance Instinct MI355X GPUs – specialised processors designed to accelerate computationally intensive tasks – with Crusoe’s existing AI cloud platform. This combined offering aims to address the growing demand for scalable and reliable infrastructure capable of handling complex AI training, fine-tuning and inference. The resulting AI Infrastructure as a Service is slated for launch in the autumn, with Crusoe deploying the GPUs within its global network of data centres.

Crusoe and AMD have formalised a collaborative partnership to deliver cloud-based artificial intelligence solutions. This arrangement centres on integrating AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs within Crusoe’s existing AI cloud platform, creating a combined Infrastructure as a Service offering designed for complex AI workloads including training, fine-tuning, and inference. This collaboration directly addresses the increasing demand for scalable and dependable AI infrastructure, enabling customers to accelerate their AI initiatives.

Complementing the hardware integration, both companies will undertake joint sales and marketing activities to broaden the reach of this combined solution to enterprises seeking a competitive advantage through AI. AMD highlights the performance capabilities of its Instinct MI350 series GPUs, coupled with the AMD ROCm software platform, as key enablers for tailored AI solutions. ROCm, an open-source software platform, provides the necessary tools and libraries for developing and deploying AI applications on AMD hardware.

Crusoe intends to integrate AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs within its existing global network of data centres to support the delivery of its AI Infrastructure as a Service offering. This deployment strategy aims to address the increasing demand for both scalable and dependable AI infrastructure, enabling Crusoe to cater to complex AI training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads. The company’s approach centres on leveraging purpose-built infrastructure designed specifically for AI applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Crusoe’s platform is designed to provide a highly scalable environment for running next-generation AI workloads, built upon state-of-the-art GPU infrastructure. This infrastructure delivers unmatched reliability and enterprise-grade support, allowing data scientists, engineers, and developers to concentrate on innovation rather than infrastructure management. By combining Crusoe’s cloud platform with AMD’s GPU technology, the companies aim to provide a comprehensive solution encompassing both hardware and software capabilities.

Crusoe intends to make its new cloud offering, powered by AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, available to customers in the Autumn. Interested parties can currently register their interest and request further details by contacting Crusoe’s sales department, potentially securing early access to the service. The platform is constructed upon contemporary, high-performance GPU infrastructure and aims to deliver exceptional reliability alongside enterprise-level support.

AMD’s contribution centres on the AMD Instinct MI350 series GPUs, coupled with the AMD ROCm software platform. ROCm, an open-source software stack, provides the necessary performance, flexibility, and security features to deliver tailored AI solutions. This collaborative approach allows Crusoe to offer a versatile and adaptable service capable of meeting the diverse requirements of modern AI applications.
