It’s young, aggressive, ready for questions, ready for critics and ready for growth. These are heavy works, and sometimes they’re much heavier, in practice, than making a painting. In 2020, Anadol exhibited “Quantum Memories” in Australia’s largest art gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria. “My role in the game is to merge the physical and virtual worlds in my work, and to do the same thing in the NFT world,” says Refik.
